The designers work that I really like is Rachel kelly’s, she is well known for her sticker work, she designed it so that the consumer felt as though they had a part in the design. A lot of her work is based around floral and has loads of commissions over seas. She is well known for her pieces that she created in urban outfitters in America, and the wallpaper that went into production after a commission from baileys.
Kelly’s work originated after she completed her MA at central St. martins where she looked into this style of work and found that she was the only person at the time to think of this idea and realised that there was a niche in the market, she then had it copy righted and it was then that she started her commissions, I really like her work as it is so different, I like the fact that it is interactive so that you as a customer can feel like you have a part to play in the designing of the wall paper in your home, not only that but you can make it 100% individual.
