book tour!

i went to the book tour at vernon street. i think looking at these books helped give me an insight into the diferent ways an artist book can look and what is put into the artists books. i really like one of the artist books which was like a story of the artists day, instead of writing it was just images describing the girls day.
The artist has used a concertina way of putting the book together but had sewed one edge together so that it was like a closed book, i liked the idea of this i also like how there wasnt realy a front cover or back cover, it was two images which were the same but were part of the story. the images were done using etchings of her daily routine.
Although i liked this book some of the books in the book fair confused me a bit because there wasnt a lot to them some were just a word on every page and no images, which wasnt really what i expected when i thought of artists books, but at least now i know it doesnt just have to be drawings!
