Rex Ray has been one of my inspirational artists for quite some time. He is an American based artist who created hundreds of shapes using collage. The images he creates are made using collage of some magazine images and personal prints. He collages the shapes onto plywood panels which are then coated with high gloss epoxy resin. I’v always been fascinated with the application of his design and how he oranges the shapes and combines different textures. Rex Ray also is a graphics artist and produces work on canvas.
